A creatively prepared menu that’s bursting with fresh flavors and plenty of seafood, you’ll love your meal at Fluke. Our recommendation? Any of their pastas with seafood are incredible and sure to please. And don’t forget to try some dessert—whether something decadent like a brioche bread pudding, or chocolate espresso mousse with salted caramel, they’re classics with an unexpected twist.

TSK

$$$

While the menu at TSK might be ever-changing, you can be sure that whatever you order is going to be packed full of flavor and creativity. Two of their constants that can’t be missed are the raviolo and their warm bread with furikake butter. But the food here is so good you could basically close your eyes and point to anything on this menu and love it.

One of the best parts about TSK is that the menu changes, reflecting the spirit of the seasons—the same holds true with their cocktail menu. With their carefully curated cocktail list, you’ll find only the essentials but playful seasonal additions that will feel like exactly what you want to be sipping on during your visit.

Newport

Forty Steps

$

As the story goes, the Forty Steps were built by David Priestly Hall so his children could get to the beach from his property. In 1840, he gave the City of Newport a public right of way to the steps. They later became a meeting place for workers at nearby estates during the Gilded Age. The steps were originally constructed of wood, then iron, which were destroyed in the hurricane of 1938. They were rebuilt again in the 1990s and are a popular stop along the Cliff Walk. There is some parking available near the steps, but spots are very limited on Narragansett Ave. It’s easily accessible from the Cliff Walk entrance at Memorial Blvd., with less than a mile between the two.
